Elmer Alex

Elmer Alex is a Principal Engineer overseeing Sewer Engineering at the City of Vista. Elmer is a graduate of Cal Poly San Luis Obispo with a BS in Environmental Engineering and is a registered civil engineer in California. Elmer has over 23 years of experience in the water/wastewater industry. He was a board member of the San Diego Section of CWEA from 2014 to 2017. Prior to the City of Vista, Elmer worked for GHD, Otay Water District, and held various positions at the City of San Diego which included stints in Field Engineering, Engineering & Capital Projects, and Wastewater Collection operations.
