Jamie Ferro is a Project Developer leading the Climate-Energy-Reliability Practice for West Yost as a Principal Technical Specialist. He holds a Master of Environmental law and Policy from Vermont Law School and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Southern California. Jamie designs and implements stewardship initiatives by combining science and policy with outreach, education, and advocacy. Jamie has extensive experience designing and implementing climate resilience and resource management initiatives by integrating scientific, financial, and policy concepts. He has focused much of his 20-year water sector career on developing projects and programs to minimize water and wastewater systems’ greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions, reducing reliance on imported energy, and improving the reliability of water system operations through process-based energy management and process optimization projects. Jamie currently teaches the Law and Policy of Water Resources Management and Introduction to Environmental Policy at Chapman University in the Schmidt College of Science and Technology.
