Ready to run a treatment plant completely on your own, all within the safety of a computer simulation? This workshop covers the fundamental concepts of operating an activated sludge plant to achieve nitrogen removal via a combination of lecture material and a hands-on process simulator.
Attendees will be led through the simulations to demonstrate how the concept is applied to a plant layout using state-of-the-art SimuWorksTM software based on Hatch’s GPS-X program. Laptops will be provided. This is the same simulator used in the WEFTEC Ops Challenge.
