There are many rules of “thumb” for mass and size of concrete equipment foundations. The rules of thumb are for naught if the equipment is not properly secured. Individual/corporate details, textbooks, codes, old gray-haired engineers, and contractors can provide examples of “how-to” anchor equipment, not all are correct!
