Cayla Cook is a technical expert on specific soluble and particulate contaminants in water and wastewater. She has served as WEF Microplastics Task Force Co-Chair, Project Advisory Committee member, and Princpal Investigator for the Water Research Foundation on microplastics with more than 8 years of experience studying the intersection of polymer science and water. She also serves as Assistant Project Manager and Project Engineer on projects focused on assisting utilities achieve compliance on the Lead and Copper Rule Revisions and per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS).
