From the AC23 Co-Chairs
One Community. One Purpose.
San Diego is the one place to be April 18-21!
Together we are one community of professionals serving the public with one purpose: protecting clean water. California’s most critical resource. Our community is growing and welcomed with open arms in the areas of resource recovery of biosolids, potable reuse, and biogas.
We know a diverse and welcoming community, such as CWEA, fosters positive, forward-thinking dialogue to solve complex problems in our ever-changing world.
The BEST way to experience this is to join fellow wastewater professionals in San Diego and to bring rising star team members with you. This April, the Annual Conference comes to the newly renovated Town & Country Resort where you can develop connections and relationships in person with professionals who share our community purpose.
The Annual Conference provides you the tools you need to lead your team and support colleagues by learning “what” our community is facing and “how” our community is tackling them.
We’re especially appreciative of the AC23 Planning Committee for developing an exciting educational program. Highlights include:
- State Water Board update
- Keynote speaker who will help you learn about human behavior with the presentation Many Communicate, Few Connect
- A tour of San Diego county’s first potable reuse facilities in Oceanside
- Leadership development sessions
- Valuable networking events, including Students and Young Professional events and the Women Impacting Water breakfast
- SeaWorld Water Treatment Plant Tour with optional park admission afterwards
- Deep dives with national leaders discussing PFAS, nutrients, biogas, and so much more!
Remember to register by February 25 for the early bird savings. We look forward to hearing your thoughts after reviewing the unique AC23 program.
We are excited to see you and your team in sunny San Diego at the beautiful Town & Country resort!
Sincerely,
Elmer Alex
