There are 22.8 possible contact hours for all CWEA cert holders.

With pre-conference workshops, a keynote speaker, technical tracks in all disciplines, and technical tours, you are sure to find something that applies to your certification. You must be a registered attendee to apply your contact hours to your certification.

How to earn CWEA contact hours at AC23.

For any educational session you attend at AC, contact hours will be automatically applied towards your CWEA certification. 

We’re excited to continue using our new badge scanning services this year at AC23. Scanning will make it easier for you to collect and track contact hours. 

There are no more paper forms to get stamped. Everything is digital and automated.

To earn contact hours, your badge must be scanned upon entering the session room.
a. Attend the session to receive the maximum number of contact hours.
b. Get scanned on your way out of the session.
c. One contact hour will be issued  per 50 minute session attended.
d. After the conference is over it takes Member Services about 2-3 weeks to move your contact hours into your CWEA profile.
e. Log-in to cwea.org and click on Member Profile > Log-in > My Contact Hours to view your contact hours and download a participation certificate if you need it.
